Close the Gap Campaign

The global COVID-19 pandemic opened new gaps experienced most acutely by the very people for whom Challenge Day was created 35 years ago: our youth. The data are in. Young people are struggling with stress from isolation, academic setbacks, loss, feeling disconnected from peers, and family disruptions caused by unemployment, illness and grief.

This school year alone, the demand for Challenge Day programs is up over 38% from the previous year in 20 states. Our ambition is to bring Challenge Day to more schools across the country. We need your help to close the gap to increase our capacity, expand our training, and extend our reach.
