Leaders: Michael

Life Experience:

Michael was raised in Compton, South Central Los Angeles, graduated from Compton High, and received a masters degree in counseling psychology in 1992.

Michael's transformational work began after he completed his graduate studies. That same year, he began working with troubled youth in California's residential programs. Through this experience, he became an advocate for the just and caring treatment of children, speaking in schools, courtrooms, and community meetings. This experience laid the groundwork for his formal public speaking career.

In 1996, Michael began speaking in school settings to teach youth ways to break down barriers between individuals and groups, and to create a more peaceful and loving school climate. Since that time, Michael has continued to deliver messages of love, acceptance, and personal transformation.

• I grew up in a family suffering from my parents' divorce.
• I grew up hungry for love, encouragement, affection from my father, and connection with my siblings.
• My personal vision in life is to be a loving presence.
• I like golf, tennis, basketball, scuba, movies, and live performances.
• My passion is to inspire large audiences with words of kindness, joy, love, happiness, and encouragement.
• I am blessed to have a wonderful Queen for a wife, a Princess for a daughter, and a Prince for a son. I love my Royal family. (Yes, they call me "King.") We live in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
