Founders Circle

In 1987, Yvonne and Rich Dutra-St. John, MA MFT, drew upon their commitment as parents and their combined professional experience to create the award-winning Challenge Day Program. The program has proven results which demonstrate that schools that participate in the programs see a reduction in teasing, bullying, and substance abuse including tobacco, drug and alcohol use. The number of incidents of violence also decreases for schools that participate in Challenge Days and the follow-up program.

Join Rich and Yvonne in supporting the innovative Challenge Day program reaching 85,000 teens and 20,000 adults in the U.S., Canada and internationally every year. Members of the FOUNDERS CIRCLE are a special group of individuals, corporations and foundations providing sustainable support to Challenge Day through their generosity, leadership and outstanding belief in our mission. FOUNDERS CIRCLE is the cornerstone of the Annual Fund for Challenge Day!

Levels of Giving

Members of the Founders Circle provide Challenge Day with a strong fiscal position to meet future challenges. Your contributions allow us to continue creating a world where every child feels safe, loved and celebrated.

FRIENDS CIRCLE under $1,000 You will be listed in the annual Honor Roll of Donors and receive special recognition in our newsletter.

SILVER CIRCLE $1,000 and greater You will be invited to a special reception hosted by Challenge Day, be listed in the annual Honor Roll of Donors and receive special recognition in our newsletter.

GOLD CIRCLE $2,500 and greater Gold Circle members receive all the benefits of the Silver Circle plus you will receive an autographed book by Founders Rich and Yvonne.

PLATINUM CIRCLE $5,000 and greater Platinum members receive all of the benefits of the Gold and Silver Circles, and a Be The Change pin and special recognition on our website.

DIAMOND CIRCLE $10,000 and greater Diamond Circle members receive all the Silver, Gold and Platinum Circle benefits and will be invited to an exclusive Diamond Circle Luncheon hosted by Rich and Yvonne.

Who We Serve

Contributions to the Founders Circle are unrestricted and are used to provide scholarships to schools in need, support new Challenge Day Leader trainees, and fund cutting-edge programs such as the Be The Change Program for schools, sustaining Challenge Day throughout the year, and the Community Workshops - Next Step to Being the Change and Living The Change personal growth workshops.
